Dance recital

Lily and her BFF, Ava, decided to take hip-hop classes this year.  The year runs from August to June, so this is the longest commitment to a sport activity from Lily thus far.  I think the only reason she really stuck with it is because she got to see Ava every week, but I know she had fun too.  They have decided that they want to do jazz together next year so we have that to look forward to.  I'm just so glad that Lily has a good friend to share these experiences with; these girls are truly two peas in a pod.

They performed their routine to "Footloose".  It's never too early to be properly introduced to the music and movies of the 80's.

Aunt Ingrid and Uncle Ryan came to watch our little dancer.

 And Grandma too!

After you get the feeling that times are holding you down, it's best to take a lunch break at Cheesecake Factory (as opposed to hitting the ceiling or tearing up the town).
