Countdown to noon

We hosted our annual children's new years eve party this year which is my favorite party to host. The theme this year was good luck or good fortune in the new year. It provided a good end to a really great year.

William can't get enough choo-choos. Aunt Ingrid read this book to him at the party, and he pointed to the black and white dog in the book and said, "Tuesday!" (Ingrid's black and white dog).

At the party, we had the usual fun. There were games....

crafts....

eating...

catching up with "old" friends...

...and of course, plenty of yummy desserts.

Mexican wedding cookies, cake balls and red velvet cheesecake brownies. Oh my!!
