Breakfast with Santa

Getting her nails done by daddy for the big event
(or as Lily put it, "putting the finishing touches on")

Taking in our Christmas tree before leaving (aka being silly)

Silly face upon arriving at Macy's, but I had to include a shot of the dress & coat ensemble. It is from last year, but it is her absolute favorite. She actually cried one day when I would not allow her to wear it to school. But this is definitely the last year for it so we've been trying to use it whenever appropriate.

Mommy/daughter shot. Grandma joined us as well so it was a girls morning out for us while Carl and William had a boys morning in at home.

Lily's face when Santa arrived - priceless.

Lily was a little beside herself with Santa. She did however make sure to mention the two items on her wish list this year - Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom and Thumbelina. Santa said that he would see what he could do. I have a hunch that he'll be able to accommodate her request. ;)

The breakfast was sponsored by our playgroup so Lily got to see one of her BFF's there. Our playgroup actually took up 4 large tables at the breakfast! With so many young kids running around and eating breakfast at the same time, I was just waiting for a "Is there a doctor in the house?" moment. Boy, would they have been surprised!

Of course, what do two kids of doctors do at their playdate later that evening? Play "doctor" of course!

My first thought when I saw these pics was "love, love, love the dress!" It is seriously adorable and festive!

The dress is simply fantastic and perfect for the holidays! I love Carl painting her nails - and I'm not sure what you mean about you guessing that Lily's request from Santa being fulfilled - I think it's up to the Big Red Man in the North Pole!

Kathleen you look beautiful in that picture with Lillian. You need to include yourself in the pics more often...
