While most people chose to sit at the tables set up in the garage and on the patio, Lily thought sitting on the mat in front of the door was the perfect dining location. My Uncle John kindly kept her company.

A fun-filled dayWe celebrated the 4th with my extended family at my Uncle John's house. Lily had tons of fun running and playing with everyone. She was so exhausted that she actually fell asleep in my mom's arms while we were saying our goodbyes. We decided to give her a bath before we left which meant that she could be transferred straight to her bed when we got home - which resulted a very relaxing night for us!
