We had a jam-packed day yesterday with a memorial mass for my Grandmother and a Pellerito family picnic in the evening. A great time was had by all. It is amazing to me how much living near family feels like a vacation year round. All the occasions to celebrate add up to many family gatherings that are at the same time invigorating, recharging and relaxing. I think that if I would have taken this for granted if we had never moved away, but I fully appreciate it now!
