Today I woke up to Little Mister exclaiming, "Mommy, it snowed outside! Mommy, it snowed outside!" William was a little more than excited to see the ground carpeted in snow this morning. It has been quite a while since we got a good snow -- and it really was a good snow, not too much to making the roads hazardous but enough to really get out and play in some wet, fluffy goodness. It took us a while to get everyone fed and dressed for the big event, but we were at the park by 9:00 am which is about as early as we can get anywhere these days. I was so glad that the kids got a chance to play outdoors (even if we had to postpone our special hike). I truly think I got more exercise hauling myself up and down that steep hill than I do on our hikes! Two tired little ones are currently sleeping, and then it will be time for our Super Bowl feast - yay! Go Ravens!
On your mark....
Get set...
Go!
Maybe against our better judgment, we let Emmy go down with Lily. She had lots of fun right up until the face plant. She was completely okay, just a little chilly.
Warm pajamas, popcorn, cocoa and a movie. What could be better?
A fire! Now we're talking.
