Ann Arbor Children's Museum

Although we didn't spend much time in Ann Arbor, we did have a few hours to kill between checking out of the hotel and picking Carl up after his interviewed finished. So we headed to the The Hands-On Children's Museum. The kids both did really well there and were just super stars the entire trip.

William is a big fan of Frank Lloyd Wright and often draws inspiration from him when making model buildings.

Lily's always been a fan of "Let's see what happens when I hit this button...."

Someone's going to get a surprise when they turn on the water

So if I teach William how to fish instead of giving him fish, does that mean I don't have to cook anymore?

Why is manual labor so appealing at a museum but not at home?

Check out that caboose! Whoo whoo!

See mom, I told you I don't weigh a ton.

No worries, Lily's at the wheel of the ambulance...

...and William's manning the controls in the back.

This was a bare bones kind of trip

One big bubble

One even bigger bubble

How does it do that??

Mountain hiking is so yesterday, Lily's now training for mountain climbing

Belay on... Oh wait, no... :)
