Just a few little tidbits from the day...

• Lily told me today that I am her "sugar pony prancer".
• Carl called while I was making dinner, and Lily informed him that "Kathleen is choppin' carrots up".
• During the same conversation, Lily said, "Okay, well, I'll see you in a little bit" as she was getting off the phone.
• Lily was going into the bathroom and told me that "this is going to be a long quick, mom".
• At bedtime, Lily decided that after she is a big girl, she is going to be a boy and go to work.
• At work, Carl and his fellow first-year residents had to have their TB tests read and signed off by a doctor. They were worried about getting it done within the deadline until one of the senior residents reminded them that they all are in fact doctors and could read the tests themselves :)
• This one was not from today but adorable nonetheless. Lily woke up one day last week and wanted to know if daddy had taken my car to work. I told her, no, he had taken his car. She then asked me if she could take my car. I asked her why she needed it, and she responded that she wanted to take it to get daddy at work. So sweet.
