Ingrid recently posted the picture above of Carl as a toddler. It's true that Lily seems to be showing more and more of a resemblance to Carl. He has been reveling in this development and making claims that his genes are stronger and more dominant than my weaker, recessive genes. But just wait until her personality comes shining through; then we'll see which parent has "stronger" genes :)

I thought that Mary looked a lot like me but we have nothing on Lily and her daddy. I guess this means that number two will be Kathleen's carbon copy. Give Miss Lily kisses from her cousins Mary and Katie!
I think her personality has already come shining through! Her pleasant demeanor and happiness is definitely tribute to you Kathleen, but I bet she'll follow Carl's lead on things like humor - it's hard to grow up around it and not get pun happy!
