Yesterday I got together with my friends from high school for a picnic at the park organized by Sara. We had the good fortune of great weather with even better company. I was really bummed that Lily couldn't be there to play with all the kids, but she came home Friday with a fever that didn't break until the wee hours of Sunday morning. Luckily, there will be plenty more get-togethers now that we are back in St. Louis.

How we spent our rain day

It has rained all day here without a break. This morning was particularly bad so I decided to keep Lily home, and we had a fun-filled day together indoors.
